MANY FORMS, MANY USES.
Chamomile in its many forms is a highly effective ingredient. Many skin care products can be infused with chamomile extract, chamomile essential oil, or chamomile tea. Chamomile has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory abilities that help to decongest clogged pores, making chamomile one of the best herbal extracts for acne. We have used it one of our most popular facial cleansers for this reason. Chamomile is also rich in flavonoids and antioxidants effective in protecting the skin against free radicals that cause aging. With it’s earthy and mildly sweet aroma, chamomile essential oil is great for relaxing aromatherapy.
Among the other skin conditions that chamomile can help address are rosacea, eczema, rashes and sometimes even insect bites. It can also help relieve the discomforts of sunburn. Another lesser known fact about chamomile is that it’s also an all-natural bleaching agent and can help to naturally even your complexion.
